At this time, members of the public may address the Landmarks Board on items of
interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Landmarks
Board except agenda items. With respect to agenda items, your opportunity to address the
Landmarks Board will be afforded when the item has already been reviewed in a public
hearing at which members of the public were allowed to testify and the Landmarks Board has
closed the public hearing. Your opportunity to address the Landmarks Board must be
exercised during the Public Comment portion of the calendar. Each member of the public may
address the Landmarks Board for up to three minutes. If it is demonstrated that comments
by the public will exceed 15 minutes, the President or chairperson may continue Public
Comment to another time during the meeting.
The Brown Act forbids a Commission from taking action or discussing any item not
appearing on the posted agenda, including those items raised at public comment. In
response to public comment, the Commission is limited to: (1) briefly responding to
statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or (2) requesting staff to
report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or (3) directing staff to place the item

stucco-clad brick, educational building designed by Willis Polk & Co. Architects and
constructed in 1911, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The
subject building is rated a "2" on the Planning Department's 1976 Architectural
Survey, and was determined eligible for placement on the National Register of Historic
Places in 1992.

Lines serving the Public Health Building. Accessible MUNI Metro lines serving this
location are the J, K, L, M and N which stop at the Civic Center Station. For more

2. American sign language interpreters and/or a sound enhancement system will be
available upon request of Dorothy Jaymes at (415) 558-6403, 48 hours prior to the hearing.

attend the hearing, individuals are requested to refrain from wearing perfume or other
scented products.
4. Accessible curb side parking has been designated on the Grove Street perimeters of

City Landmark. With this designation, future alterations to the Golden Gate Bridge would
