Andrea Green, Acting Secretary Planning Commission.

Patricia Gerber, Acting Recording Secretary Landmarks Board.

?         Landmarks Board Hearing for January 3, 2001 will be cancelled.

?         Jewish Community Center ? Art Deco Society appealed the denial of landmarks designation by the Planning Commission to the Board of Supervisors by a vote +10 ? 1 (Sup. Bierman), on November 20, 2000.

?         Changes to Article 10 of Planning Code asked Landmarks Board to give a 60-day review period to review future landmark designation initiations from the Board of Supervisors.? Supervisor Becerril put in a text change amendment forward for Art. 10 to change the 30 days requirements to 60 days.? Approved by the Planning Commission and sent to the Board of Supervisors for action and approval.

?         Announced appointment of new State Historic Preservation Officer.

?         State Historic Resource Commission, will hold their quarterly meeting in San Francisco on February 2, 2001.?

?         January 17, 2001 calendar first order of business will be? the Election of Officers.

Informational presentation to report to the Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board on results of testing of reconstruction methods for proposed restoration of the Conservatory of Flowers, as approved under Certificate of Appropriateness 1999.591A.? Reconstruction includes replacing portions of wooden building frame as well as glass panels.
