PUBLIC COMMENT
At this time, members of the public may address the Landmarks Board on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Landmarks Board except agenda items. Public comment will be taken on each agendized item. Each member of the public may address the Landmarks Board for up to three minutes. If it is demonstrated that comments by the public will exceed 15 minutes, the President or chairperson may continue Public Comment to another time during the meeting.
The Brown Act forbids a commission or board from taking action or discussing any item not appearing on the posted agenda, including those items raised at public comment. In response to public comment, not on an agendized item, the Board is limited to:
(1) briefly responding to statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or
(2) requesting staff to report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or
(3) directing staff to place the item on a future agenda. (Government Code Section 54954.2(a).).

6. GOLDEN GATE PARK (PARK), bounded by Fulton, Stanyan, Baker and Oak Streets, Lincoln Way, and The Great Highway. Assessor’s Block 1700, Lot 1 - National Register Nomination - The Park is a 1,017-acre urban park in the western section of San Francisco. It stretches 3.7 miles from the center of the city to the Pacific Ocean. The Park’s construction began in 1871 and was conceived as a naturalistic pleasure ground park to provide a sylvan retreat from urban pressures for all citizen rich or poor. The Park is zoned P (Public) and is classified as Open Space. The State Historic Preservation Office is seeking the Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board’s comments on a proposed nomination to the National Register of Historic Places as part of San Francisco’s role as Certified Local Government.

57 POST STREET, is on the south side of Post Street between Montgomery and Kearny Streets. Assessor’s Block 311, Lot 013 - Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to install a new automatic teller machine (ATM) on the ground floor of the existing bank. The nine-story, mixed use building, of steel frame with brick and sandstone curtain walls, was designed by Albert Pissis and constructed in 1909. The subject property is Landmark No. 134, under Article 10, and Category I (Significant) under Article 11of the Planning Code, and appears eligible for individual listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The landmark is located within the C-3-O (Downtown Office) District and is in a 250-S Height and Bulk District.

851 BEACH STREET aka 900 NORTHPOINT, Ghirardelli Square, Landmark No. 30, south side between Polk and Larkin Streets. Assessor’s Block 452, Lot 1 - Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to cover a one-story existing metal roof with a canvas awning. This four-story red brick building, constructed in 1916 as a part of the Pioneer Woolen Mill, is zoned C-2 (Community Business) District and is in a 40-X Height and Bulk District.
