It had been anticipated that the Recreation and Parks Commission and Planning Commission would hold a Special Joint Meeting on April 11, 2013 to consider actions related to the project at 706 Mission Street, northwest corner at Third Street; Lots 093, 275, and portions of Lot 277 of Assessor’s Block 3706 (Case No. 2008.1084E).
On March 21, 2013, the Planning Commission certified the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared for the project at 706 Mission Street (Case No. 2008.1084E). The EIR certification has been appealed to the Board of Supervisors. As a result, the Recreation and Parks Commission and the Planning Commission cannot consider actions related to the project at 706 Mission Street (Case No. 2008.1084E) at this time. Should the Board of Supervisors uphold the certification of the EIR, the items for the Special Joint Meeting are proposed for continuance to May 23, 2013 (to be considered at Noon, in the Planning Commission Chambers, Room 400), and will be noticed accordingly.
