A. SPECIAL CALENDAR
1. COMMISSION SECRETARY SEARCH – The Commission Secretary Search Sub-Committees of both the Planning and Historic Preservation Commissions (Joint Sub-committees) will meet to discuss and identify steps to take to fill the Commission Secretary position once the current position becomes vacant in the fall. The Joint Sub-committees will review and discuss the response from the Executive Director of the Department of Human Resources. Specifically, the Joint Sub-committee could consider whether to recommend that both commissions continue to push for a higher classification; seek a higher salary in the proposed classification by using Range B or C; or recommend that the two commissions not share a Commission Secretary; and other topics as they may relate to this positon.
