1. STAFF REPORT AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Neil Hart, Chief of Neighborhood Planning & Preservation Coordinator:
i He welcomed newly appointed Board Member Alan Martinez to the LPAB.
i President Tim Kelley will be leaving the LPAB on March 16th and his replacement will be Johanna Street. There will be a dinner honoring Tim Kelley (information forth coming)
i He provided status report on the Coronet and Alexandria Theaters. After investigation the Coronet Theater was found not to be architectural historically significance. The environmental evaluation for the Alexandra Theater is on-going.
i Statement of Economic Interest forms will be due on April 1st. The Annual Ethics training will be held on March 7th.
i The Planning Commission voted not to endorse 1886 Mission Street.
i The American Planning Association will be holding its conference on March 19-23rd at the Moscone Center.
i There will be a one-day workshop on Adaptive Reuse of Historic Building held in Los Angeles.
2. PRESIDENT'S REPORT AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Tim Kelley
He welcomed newly appointed Board Member's Martinez and Street to the Landmarks Board. The Planning Commission review of the rating for 1886 Mission Street was a new procedure and he believes that they did not fully understand the procedures. He was informed of the location for the Doggie Diner sign. He recommended that the Doggie Diner sign face Sloat Blvd.
3. MATTERS OF THE BOARD

iShe has concerns with the Environmental Review process. She asked after receiving the environmental review, will there be a E.I.R. conducted?
Alan Martinez
i Thanked the Board for their acknowledgement to him being appointed to the LPAB. He requested a status report on the work plan.
Bob Cherny
i The Doggie Diner Head needs signage explaining what it is and why it is there. Requested staff to investigate if there has been a change in the plan regarding preserving the building at the Academy of Science.

It is within the SSO (Service Secondary Office) District and a 50-X Height and Bulk District.
