        WALKING TOUR OF HISTORIC JAPANTOWN.

        Several members of the Landmarks Board, Planning Staff and members of the public walked several blocks in Japantown. A number of buildings were pointed out as being significant to the neighborhood.

    Neighborhood Planning:

            • Thanked the Japanese Cultural and Community Center (JCC) for providing the tour and their facilities.

            • Announced that the Landmarks Board's Landmark Designation Work Program, 2002-2003, will be discussed at the September 18, 2002 hearing. Members of the public are invited to participate.
