THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 10:08 A.M.
STAFF IN ATTENDANCE: Kate Stacy – Deputy City Attorney, Linda Avery – Commission Secretary.

A. EXECUTIVE SESSION
PLANNING DIRECTOR SEARCH - The Planning Commission will meet in closed session pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 67.10(b) and Government Code Section 54957(b)(1) to consider candidates for the position of Director of Planning. The Planning Commission may take action to recommend candidates for the position of Director of Planning to the Mayor.
At the conclusion of the closed session, and pursuant to Section 67.10(b) of the San Francisco Administrative Code, the Commission will reconvene in open session and shall by motion and vote elect to:
- Disclose no information, or
- Disclose information that a majority deems to be in the public interest.
ACTION: In public session (following the closed Executive Session) the Commission, by unanimous vote, passed a motion to not disclose any information

ABSENT: Antonini and Moore

- Early in the process I asked that you involve the public in the selection process for the Director of Planning.
- The Department is not adequately meeting the notice requirements for CEQA/EIR review.
