COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Shelley Bradford Bell and Sue Lee
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Michael J. Antonini
THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY PRESIDENT BRADFORD BELL AT 12:30 p.m.
REGULAR CALENDAR
1. Discuss status of selection criteria, final job description, final job
announcement and list of additional sources for posting for the position
of Planning Director.
ACTION: Commission directed Commission Secretary to submit revised Planning
Director job description to the Department of Human Resources (DHR). Revisions
include:
1) Item No. 8 under Examples of Important and
Essential Duties should read: Represents the department and
planning commission on interdepartmental committees as required by ordinance.
2) There was a formatting error where two paragraphs were joined together
and that was corrected.
2. Discuss status of recruitment plan, including report on obtaining the
services of a professional recruiter.
ACTION: Commissioner Bradford Bell, Interim Director Macris and Commission
Secretary will be meeting to decide on a professional recruiter.
PUBLIC COMMENT
At this time, members of the public may address the Planning Director Search Subcommittee on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Subcommittee. Each member of the public may address the Subcommittee for up to three minutes.
