2. Announcements - Meko updated status of pending SRO interim control measure.

4. Box Retail Policy Discussion - Elberling presented revised AND map of retail locations and revised chart of potential "best case" box retail requirements. After extensive committee discussion it was determined to present the threshold question of yes/no for any kind box retail in Western SOMA for action at the April Committee meeting, to be followed by a full Task Force Decision in April. If answer is "no, no more to be allowed" no further work is required. If answer is "yes, some more can be allowed" then Committee will need to develop detailed size/type, design, and location rules.

3. Flower Mart Site Discussion - Elberling presented a paper listing likely alternative development scenarios for the site under various assumptions. Then presented a specific development concept for a scenario that maximized retention of the existing Mart businesses and operations, combined with residential for financial feasibility. After extensive Committee discussion, it was determined that the amount of residential development required for that concept was too much and would fundamentally conflict with overall goal to maintain SLI as a commercial district. It was determined to revisit the AND retail development scenario for the site at an upcoming meeting.
